Recipe:

Killer Strawberry-Mango Lemonade

• 2-3 pints ripe strawberries, juiced (or pureed)
• 2 very ripe mangoes, pureed (a stick blender works great!)
• 6 lemons, juiced (I use a citrus press for these.)
• 3/4 C natural cane sugar
• Optional: 1 C fresh carrot juice (We were playing with the Champion, so I used the carrot juice to help puree the the mango –this is simply a match made in heaven.
• filtered water (to taste)

Directions:

After juicing, thoroughly combine juices, sugar, and puree in a 4 quart pitcher.  Proportions of juices can be altered to taste.  Finally, add cold water to the juice as desired.  Personally I found 50/50 to be a great balance.

As always buy organic for healthiest results!

Pour yourself a glass, add a few ice cubes, relax and enjoy!

Usually this blog will be clean, and there is an upside to all this, but I need to say seriously, what the fuck? I thought nobody “really reads” blogs except for bloggers?  Well, not anymore.  Apparently, the FBI has nothing better to do.  This really makes me want to provoke these stupid pigs —dogs!  Seriously, you can be arrested for tweeting “here i am locked and loaded”  How the hell is that an interstate threat?  Take your First Amendment rights out for a spin once more, you won’t have them much longer.  I swear, if the Fairness Doctrine is reinstated, I will flee the country.  Not move, not emigrate, FLEE!

Back to the FBI…who REALLY thinks that guy was a threat?  He’s not going to start shooting up the people that are there protesting next to him, they’re on the same team.  Besides, what the hell do the tea parties matter anyway since Fixed News took credit for the workings of a real grassroots uprising, now it’s nothing but another midstream media farce.

I only support peaceful protest; violence solves nothing.  But sometimes, when the noise of bullshit overpowers, one must raise their voice.  I’d like to see the Tea Parties all show up at the docks of the San Francisco Bay and start throwing all the containers of shit from China overboard.  That’s right, let’s really be Revolutionaries.  Get your muskettes out and hijack a crane and show them you’re serious.  Enough of this shit.  Maybe that would get people’s attention.  Rupert Merdoch’s puppets sure as hell wouldn’t take credit for THAT!

What will the Global Warming fear mongers come up with next?

If BEING fat causes more greenhouse gas emission because people are eating more, doesn’t it make sense to look at how food production and types of food on the market impacts individual diets?  It is processed foods like high fructose corn syrup and partially hydrogenated oils, hydrolyzed proteins, and fake flavors like MSG that require TONS (literally) of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, machinery, and factories. Those are the things responsible for more emissions, not fat people eating too much and farting!

Organic, sustainable food production helps the environment by providing abundant, lush vegetation that uses CO2 as food and replenishes the soil without harsh petro-chemical fertilizers and pesticides.  Keeping production and distribution localized or regional-ized reduces emissions from food transportation.  Being fat does NOT cause global warming.  Things that are already causing global warming are also making people fat. Processed foods and corn-fed livestock also cause DISEASE, and makes health care more expensive and less accessible for everyone.  America has a weight problem!  We know that!  Of course, the chemical companies and pharmaceutical companies (all part of the gov’t-pharma complex and gov’t-agra complex) fully realize this as well!  That is why they produce fake science to approve chemicals for fields and additives for foods and drugs to “fix” the problems they cause.  It’s all part of an exploitatibe, extremely profitable industry.

Blame fat people for being ignorant about nutriotn and irresponsible consumers, not for polluting.

Problem: Obesity?
Root cause = factory food, feed lots, and greedy companies (like Monsanto) enabled by the FDA and the EPA
Solution: Change in consumption habits and large scale food production – more Organic farming, local food production and consumption.   These are all things mankind did very successfully for centuries before profit and quantity trumped nutrition and quality.

The beautiful thing is today we can have our cake and be healthy too!  Quantity and quality food are possible for all if we stop the exploitation of our people and our land! It is time to abandon the out-dated subsidy programs from Nixon and the 1970s.  Back then we were so afraid of a global food crisis we needed to do anything and everything to produce more food.  Today, we are advanced enough to have fresh, healthy food whose production can befefit the land and its inhabitants.

Recently, I was listening to an artist’s station…Mike Perkins Radio, when along came a song packed with sophisticated ideas, powerful voice, and beautiful acoustic melodies.  I was so compelled by the voice and vibes of modern Australian folk singer Kate Eve that I simply had to leave a comment on last.fm for other users to see.  In a hurry at work, I didn’t say much; simply “What a voice! I need more of this!” What happened next is a music lovers dream and a bit of a social media miracle…Kate actually took the time to write me back.  So, through my social-enabled streaming radio service, I learned of a new artist and even made a direct connection.

I think trying to dumb down some of my ideas into 140 characters 4 twitter has advrsly impacted my writing…c?  But, it is also a fun challenge to concoct terse manners by which to convey complex ideas.  That’s fun for lot’s of creatures…like whatever/whomever made our brains and psycho active chemicals (whether you believe they were BANGED or evolved or WILLED by a supreme being or synthesized by aliens…wherever these things came from, most theories say they came about from common sources.)  For example: we can’t really comprehend many of the great mysteries of the universe at our current level of consciousness, but psycho actives provide a nice little window through which our brains can pick up snippets of the idea of what this whole Universe thing that we live in is all about I’m sayin’ …maybe they’re just meant to give us a tweet or two? …a few clues, something to keep us from all going insane and killing each other because we’re convinced that life is only physical and Evolution is God and Dawrin jerked him off…and so we go off building an immense, extravagant hadron collider looking for particles that solve every mystery of the Universe by proving the Universal Theory of Everything IF they exist and IF we can find one.

Does anyone else think mathematics cannot explain everything?
